This excursion take you along the highway Catania, Enna, Caltanissetta, through the center of Sicily, the way of large pastures and cornfields, to the south coast of Sicily.

Upon arriving in Agrigento, visit the Temple Valley. This archeological park is famous throughout the world and was declared by UNESCO “World Heritage Site” for its temples well preserved, built by the Greeks, between 510 and 430 b.C.: Temples of Juno, Concord, Hercules, Jupiter, Castor & Pollux.
The excursion continues towards “Scala dei Turchi” an amazing rocky cliff located on south coast of the island. The name actually translates in Italian meaning, “Stair of the Turks". The rocky cliffs are created from marna, which is a sedimentary rock that is characterized by white color. The rocky cliffs are surrounded by two sandy beaches and the sea has the color of emerald. This rock formation is in the list of Seven Natural Wonders of Italy because of its unique features combined with the aesthetic view is really astonishing. Return to Taormina in the late afternoon.
